Retail Leasing & Commercial Property Specialist

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Hospitality & Retail Services Specialist to lead retail leasing, tenant management, retail development and hospitality-related services across the KAUST Campus and Thuwal Corniche areas. The role covers retail strategy, tenant acquisition and lease administration, and supports hospitality and catering services with high standards of food safety, hygiene, HSE and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement retail leasing and commercial strategies aligned with community needs, market trends and financial objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and secure retail tenants, including lease commitments and Letters of Intent.
• Prepare, negotiate, administer and monitor commercial leases and service contracts.
• Carry out market benchmarking, financial analysis, budgeting and lease economics.
• Manage the retailer lifecycle: onboarding, inspections, compliance, performance reviews and exit/clearance.
• Run retail inspection, compliance, HSE, hygiene and service quality programmes.
• Manage retail development projects from feasibility, design, permitting and construction through commissioning and lease-up.
• Oversee operations, budgets and finances of food and non-food outlets, and coordinate catering for business functions, community events and private occasions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HSE and regulatory requirements.
• Improve operational policies, dashboards and reporting, and act on customer feedback.
• Advise management on retail planning, business opportunities, risk and revenue, and keep websites and systems up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• 5 years of progressive experience in retail management, commercial property leasing, hospitality services, retail development or tenant/property management.
• Proven experience in commercial lease negotiation and administration, tenant relationship management and retailer onboarding.
• Retail development experience, preferably covering feasibility, design, construction, permitting and commissioning.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, lease economics and stakeholder coordination.
