Risk Management Specialist Professional

About the role

The Risk Management Specialist will lead the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management framework across Mobily’s various business units. You will work closely with risk owners, champions and department stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate risks affecting the GSM, Data, Transmission, IT, Consumer, Business, FTTH and Wholesale operations.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate planning and rollout of the Enterprise Risk Management process and framework.
• Conduct enterprise‑level risk reviews and coordinate with risk champions and owners to identify risks and develop treatment action plans.
• Perform departmental risk assessments for GSM network, Data Network, Transmission, IT, Consumer, Business, FTTH and Wholesale units.
• Update risk profiles quarterly through systematic risk assessments.
• Support execution and maintenance of risk management programmes, including risk identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring and control.
• Establish and quantify the organization’s risk appetite and tolerance levels.
• Manage escalation of control risks and develop prevention, mitigation and emergency plans.
• Coordinate implementation of mitigation plans across departments and provide guidance as needed.
• Prepare consolidated and individual risk reports for Board Risk Management Committee and Executive Risk Management Committee.
• Highlight emerging risk trends, red‑flags and ensure end‑to‑end tracking of risk processes.
• Develop and deliver risk‑awareness training and communication materials.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university.
• Proven experience in enterprise risk management within a telecom or similar large‑scale environment.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess and quantify risks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to produce clear, concise risk reports and presentations.
