Risk Manager

About the role

The Risk Manager will lead and coordinate all project risk management activities, ensuring systematic identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of risks and opportunities. The role works closely with project management and cross‑functional teams to maintain the Project Risk Management Plan and Risk Register, supporting informed decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk management activities across the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop, implement and regularly update the Project Risk Management Plan.
• Establish and maintain the project Risk and Opportunity Register.
• Conduct risk identification workshops and assess risks based on probability, impact, and relevance to time, cost, quality, safety, and scope.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses when required.
• Coordinate with risk owners to develop and implement mitigation and contingency actions.
• Monitor mitigation actions, verify effectiveness, and report on risk performance.
• Prepare periodic risk reports, dashboards and performance indicators for project management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, corporate policies, governance standards and best practices.
• Support internal and external audits related to project risk management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading project risk management activities.
• Strong understanding of contractual requirements, corporate policies and governance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, planning, cost control, contracts, procurement, construction, quality, HSE and stakeholder teams.
