Risk & Planning Manager

About the role

Egis, a global organisation in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services, is looking for an experienced Risk Manager to join its consulting firm in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role covers identifying, analysing and mitigating organisational risks across client engagements, working with senior consultants and clients to build risk strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyses for client organisations
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans tailored to client needs
• Identify, document and prioritise risks using established risk management frameworks
• Analyse risk data and trends to give actionable insights to clients and internal teams
• Prepare detailed risk reports, dashboards and presentations for executives and the board
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Integrate risk management into business processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures
• Support the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans for clients
• Mentor junior consultants and help develop risk management methodologies and tools

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Risk Management or a related field
• At least 15 years of experience in risk management, preferably in construction or real estate
• At least 5 years of professional experience in risk management, preferably in a consulting environment
• Preferred: direct experience on aviation projects, background in enterprise risk management or consulting, and familiarity with business continuity planning
• Preferred: PRM or ARM certification, and FRM, CRM or equivalent credentials

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian codes and safety standards
• Risk assessment, analysis and mitigation strategy development
• Risk frameworks such as ISO 31000, COSO or equivalent
• Advanced Excel and data analysis, plus risk management software and data visualisation tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Project management, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement
