Investment and Business Development Director

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 100 countries, is hiring an Investment and Business Development Director in Riyadh. You will lead the identification and capitalization of investment opportunities for sustainable urban development projects, attracting funding, securing partnerships and driving the financial success of the projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with project objectives and market dynamics.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify investment opportunities in sustainable urban development.
• Cultivate relationships with investors, financial institutions and other stakeholders to secure funding.
• Carry out due diligence on opportunities, including financial, legal and technical assessments.
• Lead negotiations and deal structuring, including equity investments, debt financing, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and report regularly on investment performance and portfolio management.
• Lead and guide the investment development team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in investment management, financial analysis or corporate finance, focused on infrastructure or real estate.
• Proven track record of sourcing, structuring and closing investment deals, preferably in infrastructure or real estate.
• Fluency in English and reading/writing proficiency in Arabic.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets and project finance structures.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques; familiarity with investment analysis software is a plus.
• Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and strong negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills.
