About the role
NTT DATA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of sales specialists and client managers. The role blends management, selling, coaching and leadership to ensure the team meets its sales targets and contributes to the company’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align local and global sales objectives.
- Define market approaches and set performance targets for the sales team.
- Implement sales procedures and policies as defined by sales leadership.
- Develop tactical and operational strategies that support client segmentation.
- Coordinate team activities, including account allocation, call planning, and opportunity qualification.
- Manage pipeline, provide accurate forecasting, and attend key client meetings.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and customer excellence.
- Mentor and coach sales staff, ensuring priority activities are followed.
Required profile
- Strong sales business acumen with a focus on planning and data‑driven decision making.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing sales team.
- Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and client interaction.
- Proven experience in managing pipelines, forecasting and achieving sales targets.
