Senior Accountant – AP & AR Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate processing of vendor invoices, timely collection from customers, and full compliance with Saudi VAT and e‑invoicing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle: receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices, verify against purchase orders and contracts, and prepare payment batches.
• Maintain vendor accounts, reconcile statements, monitor outstanding payables and support cash‑flow planning.
• Oversee the accounts receivable cycle: issue customer invoices, allocate receipts, reconcile accounts, and chase overdue balances.
• Perform monthly vendor and customer reconciliations, assist with bank reconciliations, and support month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare VAT‑related documentation in line with ZATCA requirements and ensure all invoices meet Saudi e‑invoicing standards.
• Generate AP/AR aging reports, vendor/customer reconciliation reports, and provide data for cash‑flow forecasting.
• Supply auditors with schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation and respond to audit queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Professional certification and registration with the Saudi accounting authority preferred.
