Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Insurance (Jeddah)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit & Assurance professional to join its Insurance practice in Jeddah. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality audit services to insurance clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing risk effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and individual priorities.
• Deliver audit services with a practical awareness of regulatory impact and risk management on business processes.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions, clearly outlining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centers of Excellence, providing accurate information and tracking deliverables.
• Link risks, controls, procedures and findings across audit files in a timely manner.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure they are met throughout the audit cycle.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Significant experience in audit and assurance within the insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.
• Ability to interpret key industry statistics and tailor audit approaches accordingly.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively with global teams and manage complex audit engagements.
