About the role
The Senior Design Electrical Engineer will lead the preparation of specifications, coordinate design reviews and manage design work for large thermal power projects in Jeddah.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare specifications and coordinate design review with contractors, consultants and internal disciplines.
- Manage design documentation including master documents, schematics, single line diagrams, interface drawings, load lists and equipment GA drawings.
- Review design calculations, studies, manuals and FAT procedures, and oversee construction, commissioning and performance testing.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, procurement documents and handle design changes, as‑built drawings and claim assessments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in large thermal power projects, including EPC design review and LSTK steam‑power plant conversion.
Required skills
- Proficiency with electrical design software.
- Strong knowledge of international electrical standards.
- Advanced MS Office and MIS skills.
