Senior Development Director – Real Estate Investments

About the role

The Senior Development Director leads the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale commercial real‑estate projects. Reporting to executive leadership, you will shape development strategy, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure projects align with investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive development strategy for new commercial real‑estate opportunities.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from acquisition, feasibility, design, permitting, construction to delivery.
• Collaborate with investment and finance teams on underwriting, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
• Negotiate land acquisitions, partnerships, and development agreements.
• Maintain relationships with government authorities, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, company policies, and governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial real‑estate development or large‑scale construction.
• Proven track record managing complex commercial or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong understanding of development processes, construction management, and real‑estate investment principles.
