Senior Gas Processing & Compression SME

About the role

We are seeking a senior subject matter expert in gas processing and gas compression to act as the Technical Authority for a portfolio of energy, oil & gas, mining, industrial and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role provides technical leadership for compressors, gas turbines, compressor stations, sulphur‑treatment technologies and package integration.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects.
• Lead technical reviews during Concept, FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Perform independent design assurance and peer reviews.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide specialist guidance.
• Support proposals, client workshops and business development activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop technical capability.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (Chartered Engineer status preferred).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in oil & gas, energy, gas processing or petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience as a Technical Authority, Chief Engineer or Principal Consultant.
