Senior Governance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Governance Specialist to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of corporate governance practices across our organization in Riyadh. The role will ensure that governance frameworks are robust, compliant and embedded throughout all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain governance frameworks, policies, procedures and delegated authority matrices.
• Monitor compliance with governance policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Support governance committees by preparing agendas, reports, presentations and meeting documentation.
• Conduct governance assessments and recommend improvements to strengthen governance practices.
• Collaborate with business functions to embed governance principles across the organization.
• Support the implementation of governance initiatives and track progress against objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate governance, GRC, risk management, compliance or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in holding companies, diversified groups or multi‑subsidiary organizations is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as GRCP, CGRC or equivalent are an advantage.
