Accountant – Hospitality & F&B (Jeddah)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in a hospitality, catering and food‑and‑beverage environment. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting records and process journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger transactions.
• Prepare and review invoices, payments, receipts and supporting financial documents.
• Perform daily sales reconciliation and verify revenue from restaurants, catering and F&B operations.
• Monitor cash, credit‑card, POS and other payment transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities and produce financial and management reports.
• Monitor expenses, purchases and operational costs, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Support inventory accounting for food, beverage and operational supplies.
• Assist in monitoring food and beverage costs and identifying variances.
• Maintain organized financial documentation for audit purposes and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of accounting experience, preferably within hospitality, catering or F&B operations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• General ledger management and journal entry preparation.
• Knowledge of VAT and relevant accounting regulations.
