Senior Hardware and Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level professional to design, implement and maintain our hardware and network infrastructure in Riyadh. The role combines hands‑on technical work with vendor coordination and global remote support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain desktops, laptops, servers and peripheral hardware.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance, ensure high availability and apply performance tuning.
• Implement and manage security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus and encryption.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and oversee hardware lifecycle.
• Coordinate procurement and support with vendors and service providers.
• Install and administer Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Conduct network audits, enforce compliance best practices and manage backup/recovery solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (master’s or certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience with enterprise hardware and network environments.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills with ability to work independently and in teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL change‑management processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, routers and switches.
• Network monitoring tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios.
• Network security concepts and intrusion detection/prevention.
