Senior Instructor – Adventure Programs

About the role

The Senior Instructor leads the safe and high‑quality delivery of adventure programmes across the Red Sea destination, supporting Akun Adventure management. This senior position combines hands‑on activity delivery with training, mentoring and performance support for the instructor team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and growth of Akun Adventure activities and inland adventure destinations.
• Oversee daily operations and delivery of all adventure activities, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Assist leadership in maintaining full compliance with destination‑specific SOPs and RAMS, contributing to their continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor and coach a team of instructors, fostering a strong safety culture and premium guest service.
• Ensure inland venues, equipment and facilities are clean, safe and properly maintained.
• Promote adventure activities across the wider RSSE portfolio, including Galaxea and WAMA, to deliver a unified guest experience.
• Participate in regular operational and performance review sessions with senior adventure leadership.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in outdoor or adventure instruction.
• Strong commitment to safety and guest experience standards.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders and local communities.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
