Senior IT System Analyst

About the role

The Senior IT System Analyst will provide professional support across a range of IT programming, application, and operational tasks. You will design, document, and code program logic while delivering technical training and guidance to end‑users and departmental staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance existing applications and create new routine applications to meet customer requirements.
• Research, design, develop, and test operating‑system level software, compilers, network distribution software, and embedded systems.
• Document current architecture, design ideal‑state architecture, and create road‑maps for application development.
• Define system requirements, prioritize alternatives, and coordinate software installations, testing, and upgrades.
• Lead project teams of IT systems analysts, providing technical direction and coordination.
• Produce user documentation, departmental policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system releases and generate logs and reports for internal investigations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in software development and systems analysis.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of technical competency.
• Excellent communication skills for internal reporting and stakeholder engagement.
