Senior Mechanical Technician

About the role

As a Senior Mechanical Technician at Siemens Energy, you will work on the dis‑assembly, cleaning, inspection, repair and re‑assembly of rotating equipment such as centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, valves and dry‑gas seals. You will join a cross‑functional service centre team, applying specialised tools and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical dis‑assembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, rotor balancing, lifting and re‑assembly of rotating equipment.
• Follow detailed work instructions and maintain accurate quality records.
• Prepare tools and equipment for each job and ensure compliance with HR, EHS and QMS policies.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as non‑conformance items, on‑time delivery and safety actions.
• Collaborate with the Siemens Energy team to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of hands‑on experience with rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, valves, dry‑gas seals).
• Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Demonstrated proactivity, reliability, honesty and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent team player and communicator who embraces a speak‑up culture.
