Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

We are a leading provider of innovative and high‑performance solutions for airport logistics. Join our Planning team as a Senior Planning Engineer in Saudi Arabia, where you will drive the scheduling and control of large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, including WBS, milestones, baseline schedules and critical‑path analysis.
• Coordinate schedules with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning teams and update them weekly and monthly.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, S‑curves, histograms, earned‑value analysis and look‑ahead schedules.
• Identify schedule risks, delays and slippages and recommend mitigation, recovery and acceleration plans.
• Review subcontractor schedules, support delay analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) claims and tender planning.
• Mentor junior planning engineers and promote consistent planning standards across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, construction engineering or a related discipline.
• 10 + years of experience in planning and project controls, preferably on large‑scale EPC, airport or BHS/MHS projects.
• Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (advanced expertise).
• Microsoft Excel (advanced).
• Microsoft Project and Power BI (preferred).
• Baseline scheduling, resource planning and critical‑path analysis.
• Delay analysis, Extension of Time (EOT) preparation and schedule optimisation.
• Earned‑value analysis, S‑curves, histograms and dashboard creation.
