Spa Receptionist (Female, Local)

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience in the spa and public areas. This role supports daily reception duties while developing skills for future leadership or operational positions within the spa.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee reception activities, including food & beverage offerings, retail, maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Respond to guest bookings and inquiries professionally.
• Promote and up‑sell spa services and retail products.
• Follow the spa’s Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and manuals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Kempinski The Spa treatments, services, and products.
• Advise guests on suitable treatments based on their needs.
• Record reservations, manage the appointment schedule, and conduct confirmation calls.
• Check guests in and out, handling payments and cash according to procedures.
• Update and manage client profiles and prepare daily reports.
• Stay informed about other resort activities and actively promote them.
• Handle guest queries, minor complaints, accidents, and incidents promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, tidy work environment and ensure adequate supplies.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage reservations, payments, and cash handling accurately.
• Strong knowledge of spa treatments, services, and retail products.
• Proactive attitude for promoting services and resort activities.
• Adherence to SOPs, policies, and confidentiality standards.
• Capability to handle guest queries, complaints, and incidents calmly.
• Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and well‑stocked environment.
