Steward

About the role

The Steward will support the Food & Beverage operations at our Tabuk, Amaala location by ensuring all kitchen, dining, and storage areas are clean, sanitary, and well‑organized. This full‑time, on‑site role is essential for maintaining the high standards of hygiene and service expected by our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Wash, disinfect, and sanitize kitchen, store‑room, tables, tools, knives, and other equipment using appropriate chemicals.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and ensure clean wares are stored in designated areas.
• Use the 3‑compartment sink for detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing cycles; inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, returning any soiled items for re‑washing.
• Rinse and spray racked items with hot water, sort and re‑wash silverware, and break down dirty bus tubs.
• Empty and maintain trash cans, dumpsters, and recycling bins; dispose of glass and cardboard properly.
• Clean and mop all assigned department areas, adhering to safety and security policies.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the manager.

Required profile

• No specific education requirement; high school diploma or GED not mandatory.
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or licenses needed.

Required skills

• Operation of dishwashing and other cleaning equipment.
• Handling of sanitizing chemicals and proper cleaning procedures.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
