Structural Design Engineer – Civil

About the role

SGS is seeking a qualified Structural Design Engineer to join its civil engineering team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality structural analysis, design, and documentation for a variety of projects while ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design using industry‑standard software.
• Prepare, review, and update structural drawings and Revit models.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
• Provide technical support during construction, resolve site issues, and review shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and other relevant standards.
• Conduct inspections and assessments at various project stages.
• Stay current with advancements in structural engineering practices and software tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred.
• Ability to join the project immediately.

• Revit (Structural) modeling.
• Steel structure design.
• Post‑tension design.
• Structural analysis software: ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM, Idea Statica.
• AutoCAD drafting.
