Technical Trainer – Cloudera Data Platform

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloudera Data Platform Technical Trainer & Advisor to up‑skill the client’s data engineering and platform teams. The role blends classroom and virtual training, hands‑on labs, and post‑training advisory to enhance the team’s ability to operate, secure, and optimise an on‑premises Cloudera/DAMP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and virtual Cloudera technical training with hands‑on labs, tailored to the client’s CDP/DAMP environment.
• Conduct technical workshops, knowledge assessments, and follow‑up coaching covering CDP, DataFlow/NiFi, Kafka, Flink, Spark, CDE, CDW, Iceberg, Ozone, security, governance and Cloudera AI.
• Prepare and maintain training/lab environments, including restricted or air‑gapped networks.
• Provide post‑training advisory, office hours, and troubleshooting support for configuration, performance optimisation, and security.
• Track learner progress, training credits, certification readiness and prepare candidates for relevant Cloudera certifications.
• Report regular progress and skills‑gap analyses to the delivery manager and client.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Cloudera/Hadoop production experience.
• Strong background with Spark, NiFi, Kafka, Hive/Impala and HDFS/Ozone.
• Practical experience administering and troubleshooting on‑premises Cloudera environments.
• Knowledge of platform security, authentication, authorization, encryption, auditing and governance.
• Proven experience delivering technical training, workshops and hands‑on labs.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is highly desirable for Saudi Arabia delivery.
