Technology Strategy Consultant

About the role

The Technology Strategy Consultant will shape and drive Elm's technology direction, ensuring that initiatives align with corporate goals, enterprise architecture, and governance frameworks. This role translates business objectives into clear technology priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a technology strategy that supports business and corporate objectives.
• Develop and update a strategic technology roadmap, including priorities, milestones, and target outcomes.
• Evaluate and prioritize initiatives based on business value, strategic fit, urgency, and expected benefits.
• Manage the technology portfolio to ensure projects, investments, budgets, and resources align with approved priorities.
• Ensure technology initiatives comply with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
• Assess emerging technologies, evaluating suitability, value, risks, and implementation requirements.
• Identify opportunities for AI, cloud, automation, digital transformation, and modernization.
• Define and monitor strategic KPIs, track initiative progress, benefits realization, risks, and dependencies.
• Prepare executive dashboards and reports to communicate performance and strategic outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and executing technology strategies within large organizations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, governance frameworks, and portfolio management.
• Ability to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps and measurable KPIs.
• Excellent analytical skills for assessing emerging technologies and investment opportunities.
• Effective communication skills for executive reporting and stakeholder alignment.
