Tendering Engineer (5-10 yrs Experience)

About the role

We are looking for a Tendering Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to support our engineering consultancy bids, proposals, and pre‑qualification activities. The role involves reviewing client requirements, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs, and preparing compliant submissions that align with our core values of commitment, client focus, integrity, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents, scope of work and submission instructions to capture technical, commercial and compliance requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including methodology, compliance matrices, project references, CV coordination and schedules.
• Collaborate with discipline engineers, project managers, estimation, legal, finance and business development teams to gather accurate inputs.
• Support cost estimates, man‑hour calculations, resource planning and proposal timelines under senior guidance.
• Track client clarifications, addenda and correspondence, ensuring timely internal responses.
• Maintain tender trackers, submission records and proposal libraries to improve future bid efficiency.
• Manage pre‑qualification registrations, capability submissions and document updates for new and existing clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical.
• 5‑10 years of proven experience in tendering within engineering design or construction.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse complex project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
