Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our projects in Dammam. The role focuses on supervising preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, LPG and water‑treatment systems within a large mall environment, ensuring compliance with codes and supporting 24/7 operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, water supply, sewage, fire‑fighting, LPG and water‑treatment systems.
• Monitor daily mechanical operations, troubleshoot equipment faults and coordinate mechanical shutdowns with mall operations and tenants.
• Lead mechanical technicians and service contractors, ensuring compliance with Saudi mechanical codes, safety regulations and Civil Defence requirements.
• Conduct inspections, condition assessments and support CAPEX projects, renovations and tenant fit‑out activities.
• Prepare maintenance and KPI reports, manage spare‑parts requirements and keep records updated in CAFM/CMMS.
• Participate in emergency response, incident investigations and 24/7 emergency call‑outs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in Facilities Management, preferably in shopping malls, commercial buildings, hospitals or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with chillers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, split ACs, plumbing, drainage, water supply, booster pumps, sewage, storm‑water, fire‑fighting, fire pumps, LPG and ventilation systems.
• Good English communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with CMMS/CAFM systems and knowledge of Saudi mechanical codes and Civil Defence requirements is preferred.
