Towing & Push Back Trainer – Aviation Ground Operations

About the role

Swissport is seeking a Towing & Push Back Trainer to join its ground handling team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality training to staff who operate tow tractors, tow bars and other ground support equipment, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft movements on the ramp.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct towing and push‑back training sessions for new and existing personnel.
• Operate tow tractors, tow bars, tow‑barless equipment and related GSE during practical demonstrations.
• Marshall aircraft during arrivals and departures when required.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and report/remove hazards.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors and ensure compliance with all security and safety regulations.
• Participate in developing a safe and healthy workplace and report incidents immediately.

Required profile

• Train‑the‑Trainer certification and a valid towing qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and previous ramp experience (preferred).
• Strong command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and on flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent health and safety awareness with the capacity to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg).
