Trade Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Trade Marketing Specialist will design and execute trade marketing programmes that boost sales, reinforce brand visibility and improve business performance across key retail and food‑service channels in Saudi Arabia. Working closely with sales, category management and marketing teams, the role ensures that promotional initiatives are aligned with overall brand strategy and deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement trade marketing plans that support brand and sales objectives.
• Plan, launch and monitor promotional activities across selected channels and customers.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to create channel‑specific strategies and activation plans.
• Analyse sales data, market trends, customer insights and competitor actions to uncover growth opportunities.
• Track ROI of trade promotions, prepare performance reports and recommend optimisation.
• Manage trade marketing budgets and allocate promotional spend efficiently.
• Support the creation of annual trade calendars, promotional schedules and new product launch initiatives.
• Work with key accounts and field teams to ensure flawless execution of trade initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of trade marketing experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage or FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels, customer dynamics and trade marketing best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute promotional and activation plans.
• Excellent analytical capabilities with experience interpreting sales and market data.
• Effective communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
