Turbo Compressor Mechanical Specialist

About the role

The Turbo Compressor Mechanical Specialist will join Siemens Energy’s Field Service team in Saudi Arabia, delivering installation, overhaul and maintenance of turbo‑compressor packages for Siemens, Dresser and other OEM equipment. The role combines hands‑on mechanical work with customer interaction, ensuring high‑quality service during planned outages.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation and complete overhaul of turbo‑compressor packages and auxiliary equipment.
• Supervise and direct a crew to meet OEM specifications and service requirements.
• Verify base‑plate levelness, alignment and other installation parameters against OEM instructions.
• Interpret P&ID and dimensional drawings to guide accurate installation.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, communicate progress and spare‑part needs, and produce detailed technical reports.
• Enforce safety and zero‑harm policies on day or night shifts, including work in extreme temperatures and noise.

Required profile

• High School/GED or engineering degree with equivalent experience.
• 5‑7 years of direct experience in turbo‑compressor package overhaul and related mechanical work.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and in challenging field conditions.
