About the role
The Water Safety Instructor works closely with the General Manager, Aquatic Manager, and Aquatic Staff to ensure smooth daily aquatic operations, uphold company values, and enhance customer satisfaction. This position focuses on delivering high‑quality swim instruction while maintaining a safe pool environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, build relationships with families, handle complaints, and report unresolved issues to management.
- Arrive 15 minutes before each shift in uniform, set up teaching areas, clean and maintain pool facilities, and follow Aqua‑Tots fecal contamination policies.
- Teach according to the Aqua‑Tots curriculum, answer parent questions about progression, and complete Aqua Cards consistently.
- Attend staff meetings and in‑service training to stay aligned with company standards.
