AC Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled AC Technician to join IHG Hotels & Resorts in Saudi Arabia. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems across our hotel properties, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair a variety of HVAC equipment including split units, package units, AHUs, FCUs and chillers.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults, perform refrigerant charging and leak detection.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, clean or replace filters, coils and drain lines.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency call‑outs, complete repairs within required timeframes and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel for major repairs or shutdown activities.

Required profile

• Diploma, technical certificate or vocational training in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience with residential, commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
• Ability to work in hot, confined or elevated areas and lift tools and equipment safely.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends and emergency call‑outs.
