Account Executive

About the role

The Account Executive supports the Account Manager by engaging directly with customers, helping to secure sales orders, and contributing to the overall growth of assigned accounts. This role blends field visits, customer relationship management, and market intelligence to drive revenue and maintain healthy receivables.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assigned customer visits and report outcomes to the Account Manager.
• Follow up with customers to assist the Account Manager in securing sales orders.
• Identify customer needs, propose solutions, and help evaluate complaints.
• Provide forecast input to aid the Account Manager’s planning.
• Spot cross‑selling opportunities within accounts and recommend them.
• Collect payments to keep receivables aging and DSO ratios within approved limits.
• Assist in converting prospects to Marketing Qualified Prospects (MQPs) and eventually to customers.
• Gather competitor activity feedback from the field and update competitor profiles.
• Stay informed on latest trends, technologies, and processes relevant to the field.
