Accountant – Freight Forwarding & Logistics (Jeddah)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to support our Jeddah operations in the freight forwarding, logistics and transportation sector. The role involves managing branch‑level accounting functions independently and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage branch‑level accounting and financial operations applying strong accounting principles.
• Handle billing, receivables, payables, petty cash and reconciliations.
• Process industry‑specific documentation and coordinate with operations and management teams.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Utilize MS Excel (PivotTables, charts) and accounting software for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce.
• SOCPA registration.
• 2‑5 years of hands‑on accounting experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transportation.
• Strong analytical reasoning and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, charts).
• Multi‑currency reconciliations.
• Freight cost allocation.
• Shipment‑level P&L tracking.
• Revenue recognition.
• Knowledge of freight and logistics management.
