About the role

The Accountant-General is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, cash handling, and reporting within the hotel. This full‑time position supports the finance team by managing day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and maintain organized financial files.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information, classifying and coding data using journals and ledgers.
• Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices to ensure full payment.
• Prepare daily consolidated cash deposits and document cash variances.
• Administer cashier banks and contracts while adhering to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related accounting or finance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
