Accountant

About the role

Hoquqi Law Firm is looking for a meticulous Accountant to join its professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing key financial statements, and ensuring compliance with Saudi tax, Zakat, and VAT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting books and record daily journal entries with precision.
• Prepare budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow reports.
• Review accounts, verify financial data accuracy, and submit periodic reports to senior management.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and support financial planning.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, Zakat, and VAT requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Professional certification preferred (SOCPA, CPA, or CMA).
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Solid knowledge of Saudi tax regulations, Zakat, and VAT.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho or any ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
