Accountant – Manufacturing (0-2 years experience)

About the role

The client is looking to hire an Accountant for their team at Al‑Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The Accountant will manage financial operations in accordance with local regulations and international standards, handling records, VAT, reporting and supporting procurement and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & financial management: record daily transactions, maintain ledgers, trial balances in line with Saudi GAAP/IFRS and monitor project costs.
• Accounts payable & receivable: process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, reconcile accounts and manage client collections.
• Taxation & compliance: file VAT returns, handle ZATCA requirements, assist with Zakat, WHT and coordinate audits.
• Banking & reconciliation: reconcile bank statements, manage cash flow and liaise with banks for LCs and guarantees.
• Inventory & cost control: work with stores and production to value stock, track material costing for PLC panels and electrical components.
• Financial reporting: prepare monthly MIS, profit & loss statements, management reports and support budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, CMA or SOCPA preferred).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial automation company in Saudi Arabia.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, SAP or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi VAT and WHT regulations.
