Accounting and Annual Tax Manager

About the role

The Accounting and Annual Tax Manager will support the Associate Director – Accounting & Tax in delivering robust financial reporting, overseeing procurement transaction reviews, and producing high‑quality management and board reporting packages.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy, completeness and IFRS compliance.
• Prepare and review management reporting packs, board packs, audit committee materials and monthly business review reports.
• Review and approve purchase orders, monitor budget versus actual spend and identify cost‑control opportunities.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, cost optimisation and performance improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency and internal controls.

Required profile

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• 4–8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or audit, preferably in a Big 4 or large corporate environment.
• Experience preparing board‑level reports and management reporting packs.
