Accounting Manager – International Multi‑Entity Operations

About the role

This fully remote position is for an experienced Accounting Manager who will own full‑cycle accounting for a portfolio of five international entities spanning the US, Hong Kong, Cyprus and other jurisdictions. You will ensure accurate month‑end close, statutory reporting and tax compliance while collaborating with external auditors, tax advisors and banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting for five entities, including month‑end close, GL integrity and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain parallel accounting in the corporate ERP and QuickBooks, monitoring automated transaction feeds for duplicates or mismatches.
• Lead annual statutory audits for Cyprus and Hong Kong entities and coordinate US tax filing partners.
• Own the group tax calendar, ensuring timely filing of corporate income tax, VAT and other local returns.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L forecasts with plan‑versus‑actual variance analysis.
• Support KYC, AML and other compliance requests from banks and payment service providers.
• Identify and remediate accounting discrepancies, control weaknesses and process inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdictional accounting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• ERP systems (experience with corporate ERP platforms).
• QuickBooks.
• API integrations and automated bank feed processing.
