Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to lead and modernise the end‑to‑end AP cycle for a multi‑entity logistics operation. You will ensure accurate, timely vendor payments while driving automation and system‑led efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full AP cycle: invoice receipt, 3‑way matching, approval workflows, and payment runs.
• Oversee vendor master data, payment terms compliance, aging analysis and GRNI reconciliation.
• Own month‑end AP close, accruals, cut‑off testing and sub‑ledger to GL tie‑outs.
• Partner with the Financial Controller on balance‑sheet accounts, IFRS reporting and audit support.
• Act as finance super‑user for Oracle Fusion AP, configure workflows and resolve issues with IT.
• Integrate OTM, Ertikaz, Shipsy with finance systems to ensure accurate cost flows.
• Lead automation initiatives such as OCR invoice capture, e‑invoicing/ZATCA Phase 2 compliance and workflow bots.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, control matrices and enforce procurement‑to‑pay policies.
• Supervise AP team members and coordinate with vendors and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CMA, CPA or ACCA preferred.
• 6–10 years of progressive AP/finance experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in logistics, freight forwarding or supply‑chain environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud; exposure to Ertikaz, OTM or Shipsy is a plus.
• Proven involvement in ERP implementation, migration or finance digital‑transformation projects.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, especially accruals and provisions.
