Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the role

Americana Restaurants is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join its Finance team at the Riyadh head office. The role will ensure accurate cash collection, reconcile sales and payments, and support month‑end close processes for a portfolio of over 766 restaurants.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily restaurant sales, track cash deposits and reconcile card/payment network settlements.
• Reconcile delivery aggregator payments, manage corporate accounts, issue invoices and follow up overdue balances.
• Perform AR sub‑ledger to general ledger reconciliations, prepare aging reports and support month‑end close.
• Maintain records for internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies, VAT and company controls.
• Coordinate with Operations, Treasury, Sales, IT, Internal Audit and store managers to resolve cash variances and deposit exceptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections or bank reconciliation.
• Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements and VAT regulations.
• Saudi national.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
