Accounts Receivable Accountant – SAP S/4HANA

About the role

The company, an industrial manufacturing firm serving major industrial customers and EPC contractors, is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant. You will own the end‑to‑end receivables cycle, from invoice creation to cash application, ensuring accurate billing and timely collections using SAP S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, verify and record customer invoices according to purchase orders, contractual terms and project milestones.
• Submit invoices through customer portals and ensure all supporting documents are complete.
• Follow up on pending goods receipt notes, invoice approvals and documentation issues that delay payment.
• Monitor receivables ageing, pursue overdue balances and maintain clear collection records.
• Record and allocate customer receipts in SAP S/4HANA, reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies, deductions and short payments.
• Coordinate resolution of billing disputes, credit notes and customer queries.
• Prepare weekly ageing reports, collection forecasts and escalation updates.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, balance confirmations, audit requirements and impairment assessments.
• Identify and implement improvements to billing controls, collection processes and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA, CMA, CPA or similar qualifications are a plus.
• Proven accounts receivable experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial supply.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially accounts receivable and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, cash application, contractual payment terms and collections.
• Familiarity with IFRS, Saudi VAT and electronic invoicing requirements.
• Professional communication and follow‑up skills for internal and external stakeholders.
