Adjunct Faculty – Philosophy

About the role

NHU‑Riyadh is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach introductory philosophy courses for the Fall 2026 term. The position is part‑time, on‑campus, and instruction will be delivered in English.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one or more introductory philosophy courses to undergraduate students.
• Prepare syllabi, lecture materials, and assessments following best pedagogical practices.
• Utilise instructional technology and the Canvas learning management system to support teaching and student engagement.
• Participate in a teaching demonstration via Zoom as part of the selection process.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Philosophy or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• Prior experience teaching at the college or university level is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Student‑centered approach with a commitment to teaching excellence.
