AH64/AH6i Technical Inspector

About the role

V2X Inc is seeking an experienced AH64/AH6i Technical Inspector to join its aviation maintenance quality control team in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the QC Manager, you will ensure aircraft systems and components meet stringent safety and performance standards across a range of platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and sign off red X and circle‑red‑X conditions on airframe, power‑train, power‑plant, armament, electrical and avionics systems.
• Determine the need for Maintenance Test Flights (MTF) or Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC) and interpret inspection criteria for maintenance crews.
• Use common measuring tools, precision gauges and alignment fixtures to verify component tolerances.
• Maintain the technical library, aircraft forms and records in collaboration with the customer.
• Work with Weight & Balance technicians to complete documentation using Automated Weight and Balance Software (AWBS).
• Act as site QC data analyst, administer compliance documentation and develop quality control processes.
• Deliver technical and safety training, record on‑the‑job training data in the LMS.
• Perform in‑progress and final quality inspections during repair, modification, rework and overhaul of aircraft and components.

Required profile

• Minimum 120 months (10 years) of experience in aviation maintenance inspection.
• FAA Inspector Authorization IA certificate.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Demonstrated AH‑6i technical inspector and training experience.
• Proficiency with precision measuring gauges, alignment fixtures and common measuring tools.
• Experience using Automated Weight and Balance Software (AWBS).
