AI & Cyber Automation Intern

About the role

The Cyber Automation Intern will contribute to AI and automation initiatives within Help AG's Cyber Automation team, working with FortiSOAR, Python and AI/ML models.

Key responsibilities

• Work on Agentic AI, AI tools and frameworks to automate Managed Security Services operations.
• Develop code primarily in Python and configure FortiSOAR solutions.
• Assist in the development and training of AI models as required.
• Demonstrate solutions, test functionalities and produce documentation.
• Collaborate with the Cyber Automation team to achieve project goals.
• Research and propose new ideas for AI and automation.
• Monitor latest AI research, tools and frameworks and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI and cyber‑automation initiatives.
• Problem‑solver attitude with ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with peers and customers.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• FortiSOAR (SOAR solution).
• AI/ML models, including LLMs, RAG and prompt engineering.
• Data manipulation using Pandas and NumPy.
• Understanding of machine‑learning algorithms and concepts.
