AI Director

About the role

The AI Director will lead the creation, implementation, and scaling of artificial intelligence solutions across the organization. This senior position is responsible for establishing an AI Center of Excellence, executing the group’s AI strategy, and turning clinical, operational, and business needs into measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support and translate the enterprise AI strategy into an actionable roadmap and prioritized portfolio of initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, data readiness, risk, and ROI.
• Lead AI projects through the full lifecycle—from problem definition and feasibility to prototype, validation, production deployment, adoption, monitoring, and scale.
• Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, clinicians, and business teams to design and deliver deployable AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on modern AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, predictive analytics, NLP, large language models, and generative AI.
• Establish rapid‑prototyping capabilities and ensure clear pathways from pilot to enterprise adoption.
• Maintain visibility of portfolio progress, risks, resource needs, outcomes, and scaling opportunities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to lead AI initiatives across clinical, operational, and business domains.
• Experience establishing and managing an AI Center of Excellence or similar function.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working with cross‑functional teams including clinicians, data engineers, and business leaders.
