AI Engineer – Production ML on Google Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on AI Engineer to build and operate production‑grade machine‑learning systems on Google Cloud for a leading organization in Saudi Arabia. You will turn ambiguous business challenges into reliable, scalable ML solutions that run in real production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive vague business problems, define the ML formulation, success metrics and end‑to‑end production path.
• Design and implement pipelines using Vertex AI, BigQuery for feature engineering, and Python with your preferred ML framework.
• Write production‑ready code, deploy models, monitor performance, and continuously improve the system.
• Own the full lifecycle – no hand‑off to a separate deployment team.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents, documenting fixes to prevent recurrence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering experience, including at least 3 years of hands‑on GCP work.
• Delivered production ML code on GCP within the past 12–18 months.
• Can describe a recent algorithm choice, the project it served, and the rationale behind it.
• Has a concrete “war story” of a production failure, how it was diagnosed, and the fix applied.
• Able to whiteboard the last GCP ML architecture you built from memory.
• GCP Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification is a strong plus.
