Air Conditioning Technician – HVAC Installation & Maintenance

About the role

International Trade Links is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join its on‑site team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing central HVAC and refrigeration systems for commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install central HVAC and refrigeration equipment such as chillers, compressors, air handling units and fan coil units according to technical specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce failures and extend equipment life.
• Inspect systems, diagnose faults with appropriate tools and complete repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
• Handle refrigerants safely, complying with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports for all maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other technical staff on complex issues and emergency repairs.
• Advise clients on system operation, maintenance practices and energy‑efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to install and service chillers, compressors, air handling units and fan coil units.
• Proficiency with HVAC tools for inspection, diagnostics and repair.
• Knowledge of safe refrigerant handling and environmental practices.
• Electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance methods, documentation and workplace safety procedures.
