Anti-Money Laundering Specialist

About the role

Foodics, a restaurant management ecosystem and payment technology provider founded in 2014 with headquarters in Riyadh, is looking for an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist. The role supports the AML Lead in daily AML monitoring, customer due diligence, investigations and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with SAMA and FIU requirements.

Key responsibilities

• CDD and onboarding: perform KYC/KYB checks, validate company documents, and check CR, national address, MCC, beneficial ownership and IBAN ownership
• Sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening
• Enhanced due diligence on high-risk merchants, reviewing transaction volatility, abnormal MCC behaviour and cash-like activities
• Approve high-risk clients such as cash-intensive merchants, unusual MCCs and high-volume cross-border activity
• Monitor AML alerts, analyse customer behaviour and escalate suspicious activity to the AML Lead
• Conduct initial AML case investigations, prepare case summaries and assist in preparing STRs for submission
• Maintain AML logs, investigation records and supporting evidence, and keep case management documentation up to date
• Act as the main point of contact with SAMA and FIU, coordinate inspections and information requests, and help prepare remediation plans
• Support AML training for new joiners and operational teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in AML, fraud or compliance
• Knowledge of SAMA AML requirements and FIU STR procedures is preferred
