Application Support Engineer – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Masterworks is looking for an Application Support Engineer to join its IT team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production applications, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production application environments on Windows and Linux servers.
• Follow change‑management and IT‑governance procedures.
• Review cybersecurity reports, validate findings and close vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot live applications in collaboration with infrastructure, network and security teams and produce RCA reports.
• Provide Level 3 support for complex application issues.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents, performance problems and outages.
• Analyze recurring incidents, identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor application performance and take proactive corrective actions.
• Assist users, deliver guidance, best‑practice advice and training as needed.
• Participate in planning, testing and deployment of application upgrades and patches.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, knowledge‑base articles and configuration records.
• Coordinate with software vendors for technical support and critical issue resolution.
• Contribute to IT projects related to application implementation, integration and enhancement.
• Drive continuous improvement and stay current with DevSecOps practices.

Required profile

• Saudi nationals only.
• 1‑8 years of experience in application support or production environment management.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows OS and Linux OS server administration.
• Familiarity with change‑management, IT‑governance and cybersecurity reporting.
• Knowledge of development outcomes, compiled files and configuration files of web applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with infrastructure teams.
