Applications Integration Systems Analyst

About the role

The Applications Integration Systems Analyst will design, implement, and support software applications that meet the specific needs of a fast‑paced retail environment while ensuring compliance with healthcare data regulations. The role involves close collaboration with end‑users, vendors, and healthcare professionals to align IT solutions with business and clinical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new applications or customize existing ones to address retail‑specific workflows.
• Provide Level‑2 support, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
• Analyze user requirements and design solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Implement new software releases or major updates with minimal disruption.
• Monitor application performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure system stability.
• Maintain strict patient privacy and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure specialized tools meet user needs.
• Stay current on IT and pharmacy innovations such as tele‑pharmacy, mobile health apps, and AI tools.

Required profile

• BSc in IT, MIS, Systems Design or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT applications role, preferably within retail or a related industry.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or .NET.
• Experience with database technologies: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
• Knowledge of SDLC phases.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
