Architectural Engineer – Design & Technical Office

About the role

We are seeking an Architectural Engineer to support conceptual design, detailed design and technical office activities. Based in Madinah, the role involves developing architectural solutions, preparing coordinated drawings and technical documentation, and supporting project delivery in line with client requirements, applicable regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, space plans, layouts and design alternatives based on project briefs.
• Prepare presentations, sketches, 3D models and visualisations for client review.
• Produce architectural drawings, specifications, schedules and construction details, and coordinate them with structural, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical proposals to ensure alignment with approved designs.
• Support quantity take‑offs, bills of quantities and tender documentation, and maintain drawing registers and revision records.
• Assist site teams in resolving architectural issues and reviewing as‑built drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in architectural design and technical office activities, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility for registration.
• Willingness to be based in Madinah and attend project sites as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Experience with rendering tools.
